The Mauser HSc Pistol

by Alan Burnham & Peter Theodore

Abstract

The   Mauser   HSc   Pistol   is   the   long   awaited   work   on   the   history   and   development   of Mauser’s   classic   HSc   pistol.   Favored   by   collectors   for   its   sleek   design   and   compact   shape, this   double   action   pistol   which   was   destined   for   the   commercial   market   got   caught   up   in the   events   and   entered   military   service   as   soon   as   it   became   available   in   1940.   Military contract,   Officer’s   purchases   and   Navy   contracts   make   it   an   interesting   collecting   piece   and the   revival   of   the   pistol   in   1968   added   an   extra   collecting   era   to   the   history   of   one   of   the finest   Mauser   pocket   pistols   produced.   Peter   Theodore   and   Alan   Burnham   compiled   their knowledge    on    the    subject    in    this    new    78-page    book,    describing    the    development, variations,   production   figures   and   anecdotes.   A   must   have   for   every   Mauser   collector   and HSc   owner.   Black   &   White   soft   cover,   bound,   English   Language.   Self-Published   by   the authors.
