In
the next pages I will present some documents coming from Oberndorf dated
1945-1947. These documents give to as a picture of the life of the Oberndorf
citizen under French control. The Mauser was as well under control of the
French forces and just after one month started again the production of guns
for the French military. These guns represent the last effort of the Mauser
management and workers to keep the Company alive but we now that the result
was different. What it is interesting for the Parabellum collector is that
Mauser started again the production of Luger standard and artillery. These
scarce pistols are now an important collecting area for the Parabellum
enthusiast. Have
